I defaulted to the skill, as that's how it would work most of the time with parenthesis, though 5E may adopt a different ideology.Vileo Suforahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00103139545265540105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4335458134829042888.post-46179027254094332292017-01-28T18:10:47.654-08:002017-01-28T18:10:47.654-08:00I agree with the name. With this class feature, it removes that bit. However, a point that can be drawn from this is that since the structure for most ability checks is, "make a (Ability) Skill check," then another possible wording could be, "when you would make an (Charisma) Intimidation check, you can instead make an (Strength) Intimidation check," and perhaps that syntax is superior.Vileo Suforahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00103139545265540105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4335458134829042888.post-61928381953948174802017-01-28T15:59:12.447-08:002017-01-28T15:59:12.447-08:00Oh one other comment: core dnd already supports us...Oh one other comment: core dnd already supports using different ability scores for skill checks, mentioned in the PHB ability scores section, such as using strength for intimidationAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02353581117426151314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4335458134829042888.post-68426155302671693582017-01-28T14:25:57.139-08:002017-01-28T14:25:57.139-08:00This revision fixes all of my previous concerns.
